Which is better? LD Systems Maui 44G2 vs RCF EVOX 12 - Speaker Sound Test (Part 1)

▶ Check out my gear on Kit: https://kit.co/djmojoe RCF EVOX 12: https://geni.us/evox12 LD SYSTEMS MAUI 44G2: https://geni.us/maui44g2 In this video, I met up with DJ AYMO and did a spontaneous speaker test with his Maui 44G2 and EVOX 12 speakers. In our sound test, we set up the speakers connected to an RCF mixer board and played different song tracks. The audio in this video was recorded with an iPhone 13 with no microphone attachments. We played the tracks at a low volume. We would need to conduct another test with the speakers out loud. My Thoughts: The Maui 44G2 has clearer sound at a low volume, and the low end is more prominent than the EVOX 12. The Maui 44G2 also has a separate knob control for the sub; the EVOX 12 does not. The EVOX 12 sound gets more precise as you increase the volume. Also, it sounds better with the bass boost ON. The louder we turned up the EVOX 12, the better it sounded. Although the Maui 44G2 sounds clearer, the RCF sounds more natural to me and fits my taste (My opinion). Perhaps because of how the Maui 44G2 was designed, you hear sound throughout the whole column, which made it sound clearer up close. On the other hand, the EVOX 12 sound only comes from the top, which may have contributed to a different listening experience. The Maui 44G2 seems to have a fixed height, whereas the EVOX 12 has an adjustable height.
