UEFA Club competitions 2025/26 format When starting a new career, the "European Competition in 1st Season?" option must be left unselected. In the first season, and all subsequent seasons UEFA club competitions will start from the earlier qualifying rounds. With the qualification rounds now taking place in the first season it must be noted that it is very unlikely that the teams in the league stages of the UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Conference League will match exactly as in real life.
