TerraBloom's New Silenced EC duct fans are made for demanding applications requiring strong directional airflow with minimal sound output, specifically designed for installations in close proximity to the living or working spaces. Before powering up your fan, please connect the speed controller to the fan and ensure that the cable is fully inserted (until the jack "clicks" into socket) and secured with a plastic nut. Each ECMF-S fan comes with 2 speed controllers included in box. Choose the controller that better fits your application and keep the other controller as a back-up: An analog variable dial controller for granular speed selection A digital 8-speed (12.5% step) controller with a numeric screen, which shows your currently selected speed. ECMF-S fans are designed to be suspended from the joists, beams, or tent metal frame. With 4 pre-installed mounting hooks, the fan can be quickly installed using a set of metal cords or ratchet rope hangers of your choice (installation hardware not included in the set). To ensure optimal performance and the lowest noise output, the fan must be ducted on both ends with a flexible (insulated or non-insulated) duct.
