Good morning, friends! Today’s adventure took me deep into the countryside—where the roads get quieter, the air smells a little sweeter, and you never really know what you’ll stumble upon. That’s where I found it: an overgrown yard so tall and wild it looked like nature was trying to take the house back. No one answered the door, so I headed next door and chatted with the neighbor. Turns out the renters packed up and left the place just like this… a gift for the property owner to deal with. Here’s the thing—grass this tall is basically a five-star resort for critters you don’t want to bump into. And since it’s copperhead season, that tall grass is like their favorite AirBnB. The owner plans on getting the place ready to re-rent, so I figured I could take at least one headache off their to-do list. So, I fired up the mower and got to work. Of course—because it’s me—we couldn’t get through the day without a little chaos. Hidden somewhere in that jungle was a ditch, and the mower found it. One minute I was mowing, the next minute we were stuck like a turtle on its back. Luckily, a quick tug from the truck and we were back in business. Just part of the adventure, right?
