❄️ Big White Ski Resort completely surprised us. We drove 7 hours from Tacoma, Washington, to Big White Ski Resort in British Columbia, and this trip turned into one of the best ski experiences of my life. This was our second visit to Big White, but a totally different experience. The first time we were here was during my very first ski season, when I was barely making pizza turns and just trying to survive the slopes. Ever since then, I dreamed of coming back, and staying right in the ski village. This time, we checked into Whitefoot Lodge, and it was such a great find: • $300 for three nights • True ski-in / ski-out (you can clip into skis right outside the door) • Ski lockers & waxing area • Outdoor hot tub • Cozy room with a kitchenette (huge savings on food) • Beautiful mountain views Our first ski morning didn’t go as planned — strong winds shut down all lifts, so we spent the morning in the hot tub 😅. By the afternoon, lifts opened, skies turned blue, and the snow was absolutely unreal. Honestly, this was the best skiing of my life — and I’m already in my third ski season. The second day was foggy and cold, but the snow was freshly refilled — soft, smooth, and effortless. The famous Okanagan champagne powder is real. We skied Big White using the Indy Pass, and it has easily become one of my favorite ski resorts ever. Since it felt way too early to leave Canada, we made one more stop — Mt. Baldy Ski Resort. 🎿 See you in the next episode! 💬 Have you skied Big White?
