Carrying Ally Flag – Crossing Attempt. We had a weak team, so I took the opportunity and immediately took the flag, avoiding mid pvp, where we would lose. 1. Waiting for the Alliance to Start Trying to Kill Me. It's always bad when the enemy doesn't try to kill the FC. If the Alliance isn't trying to kill me, it means they're protecting the Alliance's FC, which means the Alliance is preventing my teammates from reaching the Alliance's FC. Therefore, my job is to attract the Alliance's attention so that my teammates can reach the Alliance's FC.But for this to happen, my teammates mustn't be idiots and try to kill those I've distracted (supposedly for my protection), instead of taking advantage of the situation I've created. I can't openly attract attention, specifically HERE in this BG, because I'm a weak mage, not a druid or paladin. So I can only wait. 1. Trying to Survive. I was hoping the hunter would run into the tunnel, so I could get back to the ToT. I also made a small fake using the map. The map made it look like I jumped from the balcony into the room and stood in the tunnel, which is probably why the paladin and warrior ran past me so confidently. The Alliance's FC wasn't in any danger, so I don't see why they did that. 1. Protecting the Flag Until it is Safe. It was a great position: the Horde was close to the Alliance's FC, while the Horde's FC was close enough for half of the Alliance to pursue the Horde's FC. Because the Horde's FC was fast, the FC could continue to keep the Alliance at distance. If the Horde's FC had been much further away, the Alliance would likely have started defending the Ally FC instead of pursuing. 1. EFC Killing. I think it was a cap, our FC simply didn't see EFC, didn't keep him in additional targeting or focus. Or he simply missed the timing—it's hard. 1. Picking and Waiting for a Convenient Time to Cross. My team was nearby, I was safe. Because I'm a mage, I can only attract attention by waiting in a good position. 1. Surviving. This spot kills all my(FC) impact for the team. Therefore, I shouldn't have been the FC for the mage, but someone else.
