How to install LED headlights on Honda Africa Twin RD03 XRV650/ RD04 XRV750

This is a short video on how to install aftermarket 5.75" round LED headlights on the older RD03/RD04 XRV650/750 Africa Twin. The headlights use H4 connectors and any type of round 5.75" H4 headlights should be able to be installed. The main work here is to remove the stock headlights from the bracket holding the main light. In the video, i have included step by step guide on how to do it. Hope it helps with all my fellow Africa Twin owners out there looking to mod their headlights (stock headlights really have poor visibility). Note that the stock headlights will not be usable anymore, except for the glass lens. 00:07 1. Remove main holding bracket 00:15 2. Remove the light bracket from the main bracket (cowl bracket) 00:21 3. Use a torch gun to heat up the sides of the glass lens or at the back of the bracket, to melt the factory glue 00:40 4. Use any thin tool to pry open the glass lens 01:01 5. Identify the spot weld locations at the rear of bracket using marker pen 01:17 6. Use a grinder to grind off the spot weld 01:38 7. Use a tool to pry off the reflector off from the bracket 02:09 8. Put on the new LED headlights on the existing bracket (grind off parts of the light or bracket to have a snug fit) 02:22 9. To have a strong hold on the bracket, i put some silicone glue around it. (optional: to weld the bracket onto the rear housing of the LED light; which is made of aluminium) 02:39 10. Connect the parking light wire to the white DRL wire and turn signal wires to the amber DRL wire.
