MALAYSIA VLOG | Exploring Kuala Lumpur & Penang | Backpacking Asia 2022

After 3 weeks in Sri Lanka, we flew to Malaysia for a week! Starting in Kuala Lumpur, we explore KL's restaurants, cafes, malls and street food vendors (including the famous Jalan Alor street market). We even swim in our hostel's infinity pool overlooking the Petronas towers. Then we head to Penang to see a friend, where we hit plenty more cafes, restaurants and bars. We ride the funicular to Penang Hill and spend an afternoon on Batu Ferringhi beach. Abs has an honest chat on the vlog this week, and hopefully it resonates with some of you. Traveling like we do is a privilege we don't take for granted, but it does not come without it's harder days too. Malaysia surprised us, from the bright lights of KL to the artistic streets of Penang. It's definitely one to add to your travel must-visit list!
