Actually they are not vomiting's they are just spitting. Spitting means they'll have little bit of either milk or curdled milk coming out of the mouth after eating even after burping and it is very very common in the babies and that can happen multiple times in a day. Is it significant? No, if it happens look quite infrequently or you know occasionally in once in few feeds sometimes even in per feed also but happens in very small quantity and it is not affecting the baby to grow, baby to feed and baby is not agitated with it then most of the times these are benign things means they don't have any reasons. Why do they do first of all? They do this because their stomach and intestine are quite immature when they are just born and to certain days so they don't have the capacity to hold all the milk what they've got and when they are taking the milk they'll also be taking lot of air with that that's called as aerophagia because initial their feeding techniques may not be good they'll be taking more of milk or they're crying along with that lot of air goes because of that air also they'll be spitting out some amount of the milk. Second thing is there is something called as gastroesophageal reflux. Reflux means basically any reflux means instead of going in the downward direction something is going upward direction. So when we eat the food has to go from the food pipe that's esophagus to the stomach. So here what happens the contents in the stomach or the milk in the stomach will go up to the food pipe and they may spit out a bit. Why does it happen? The same reason because of the immaturity of the lid or the sphincter what we call holding between the food pipe and the stomach. Because it is immature when little bit pressure increases or they have over fed or their position is not good suddenly they will have some amount of milk coming.
