However, they strongly recommend getting one from a certified professional Inspector. Cregg and the A-Team Agents also strongly recommend you get a home inspection as well. Otherwise, you open yourself up to a ton of risk. A VA Home Loan is designed for you to buy a home that is move-in ready. All of your major systems need to be in working order. Everything from Plumbing and electrical to your Heating system. Another major item that needs to be in good condition is your foundation. If the home you’re buying has structural issues this could cause major issues. We recommend you just terminate the contract and go find another home.
