I Touched an Elephant?! Behind the Scenes at Fresno Chaffee Zoo!

This was one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had! I got a behind-the-scenes look at the African elephant barn at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo—and yes, I got to TOUCH an elephant! Not only that, but I got to meet two baby elephants up close and personal, and even helped the amazing keeper team clean the elephant habitat. (Let’s just say... there was a lot to scoop) You’ll see what it really takes to care for these gentle giants and how much dedication the zookeepers have for their well-being.
