This adapter didn't charge at times or would not fully charge the laptop battery and it overheated. The two capacitors at the low power end of the adapter were swollen and have been replaced with the same or higher voltage spec and the same capacitance as the previous ones, but the capacitance can be higher. The voltage and capacitance values of the replacement capacitors must never be lower than the previous capasitors' values.
