TURN VIDEO UP TO HIGHEST QUALITY RESOLUTION FOR BETTER WATCH EXPERIENCE All footage was recorded in April 2022. 0:00 - Intro 0:10 - A BNSF Eastbound Z-Trains powers east through East Galesburg on the Chillicothe Sub. 2:39 - A BNSF Westbound Manifest gets started up heading out of Galesburg on the Ottumwa Sub. 3:42 - Amtrak 381 (Southbound Carl Sandburg) is speeding by a rural crossing South of Galesburg. 4:26 - A BNSF Eastbound Automotive Train sneaks by Peck Park in Galesburg as it goes under the Mendota Sub (Ex-BN to Chicago). 5:05 - Amtrak 4 (Eastbound Southwest Chief) is about to enter the Cameron Connection a few miles west of Galesburg where it will switch over from the Chillicothe Sub to the Ottumwa Sub. This will lead it to the Mendota Sub and onto Chicago. This train would also have Amtrak 161 (50th Anniversary) leading and 3 Webb Rail private cars bringing up the rear of the train. 6:04 - An Eastbound BNSF Intermodal Train meets a Westbound Intermodal at an overpass a few miles east of Galesburg. 6:48 - A BNSF Westbound Automotive Train has just came out of the Galesburg Yard and is about to take the Cameron Connection and change from West on the Ottumwa Sub to East on the Chillicothe Sub directing the train towards Chicago. BNSF 654 is in the lead still representing it's Warbonnet Paint. 8:08 - Amtrak 3 (Westbound Southwest Chief) is seen at the same location that the last train was recorded at. Amtrak 3 is about to take the Cameron Connection to change from West on the Ottumwa Sub to West on the Chillicothe Sub directing the train towards Ft. Madison. 8:53 - A BNSF Eastbound Intermodal is seen passing a rural crossing a little east of the Cameron Connection on the Chillicothe Sub. 12:52 - BNSF's Denver-Chicago Z-Train follows closely behind the last train after coming off the Ottumwa Sub and onto the Chillicothe Sub. 15:18 - A BNSF Westbound Manifest fresh out of the yard in Galesburg comes off of the Ottumwa Sub and onto the Chillicothe Sub. 16:22 - A Westbound Automotive train comes out of the yard in Galesburg with two Ex-IC SD70s leading the way. This train would've taken the Cameron Connection and switched from West on the Ottumwa to East on the Chillicothe towards Chicago. This video was shot at one of the crossings East of the Cameron Connection on the Ottumwa Sub. 16:37 - A BNSF local bound for Burlington, IA out of Galesburg is heading west past the same location the last train was recorded at. It was very windy this day in particular, so I couldn't use a tripod. I rested my phone up against the crossing to get these last two videos. 18:36 - Amtrak 3 (Westbound Southwest Chief) is a couple hours late when it pulls into the station at Galesburg. A Yard Job can be seen pulling by the station as well. 20:23 - The Yard Job known as "The Trimmer" pulls back towards the yard with a trio of Ex-BN locos still sporting BN paint. 21:17 - A BNSF Eastbound Manifest comes by the station shortly after the Yard Job. 22:23 - Amtrak 383 (Illinois Zephyr) pulls into the station shortly after the Manifest passed. 23:18 - Outro Thanks For Watching!!!
