Destellos de un Paisaje Sonoro (2019, rev. 2025) - For Orchestra Premiered by the "Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Chile" in September 12th 2025, as part of the winning pieces of the competition at the “XXV Festival Internacional de Música Contemporánea.” About the piece: From its conception, three melodic elements are presented and unfolded throughout the piece. The first of these has a reiterative character, gradually extending on its horizontality. The second, more fragmented, serves to develop the piece vertically, while the third is presented boldly, with a more conventional nature of what it’s understood as a melody. The construction of these leading elements seeks to create a narrative with changing perspectives, each reflecting an undiscovered fragment of the soundscape that, despite constantly mutating and evoking different sensations, retains its essence so that it is always recognizable.
