It is unclear who spoke. At runway 34R, also known as C runway, flames rose at the time of the collision. Looking at the video of the accident, the JAL aircraft stopped while engulfed in flames. Despite the cabin being filled with smoke, all 367 passengers and 12 crew members were able to escape thanks to prompt rescue activities.
