Early Life Amos Kiprono Cheruiyot was born in 1994 in Kalyet, Kericho County. He was the son of the late Joshua Marisin and Rusi Marisin and Son in-law to Mr and Mrs Joseph Birir. Amos was a beloved brother to the late Sally Maritim, the late Joel Cheruiyot, Peter Cheruiyot, Erick Cheruiyot, Julius Cheruiyot, Wesley Cheruiyot, Michael Cheruiyot, Caroline Langat, Rose Bore, and Ronald Cheruiyot. He was initiated into manhood in the year 2003. Education Amos began his primary education in 1998 at Kalyet Primary School, where he sat for his KCPE in 2008. He then joined Chepsir Secondary School and later transferred to Kirobon Secondary School, where he completed his KCSE in 2011. Marriage Amos was a devoted and loving husband to Fancy Cheruiyot, whom he married in 2012. Their marriage was built on love, commitment, and mutual respect, and it was blessed with three precious children: Valary Chebet, Abidan Kipngetich Rono, and Blessing Chepkirui , who were the pride and joy of his life. Occupation Amos started his career as a salesperson at Nakuru Cosmetics. In 2016, he joined the Kenya Defence Forces, where he served diligently until his passing. Christian and Social Life Amos was raised in a Christian family and nurtured with strong Christian values. Until his death, he worshipped at the African Inland Church. Amos was a very social person who spent most of his time with friends. Illness / Passing Amos enjoyed good health until the 23rd of December 2025, when he was found with a colleague in a pool of blood under unclear circumstances.
