I finally got around to working with this leftover footage from filming my buddy pro boxer Ziggy Romero at Celebrity Theater in early 2016. Ziggy was the seventh or eighth boxer on the card, so I was ringside for most of the fights—I figured I might as well get some footage. What’s unusual about the footage in these clips is that it was filmed while I was lying on my side next to the ring apron (yes, I shot the footage sideways). If you’ve ever been to Celebrity Theater, you know there is virtually no space between the stage in the center of the amphitheater and the crowd. The angels and devils idea...well, I was never sold on it along with the fire and pitched-down scary voice, but it kind of worked. I got the idea from one of the boxer’s back tats (the fighter taking an uppercut to the chin in the video thumbnail). He has a huge pair of angel wings tattooed on his back.
