April 30, 2017, The Reno Weekly THE ROCK N' ROLL CORN DOG CAPER By Curley Wilcox I don’t mean to be a stick in the mud, but those darn Dunebilly yahoos did it again. Last year they snuck into Stagecoach under the guise of porta potty pumpers. This year they came in with corn dog push carts. But instead of hot dogs dipped and baked in a sweet, golden brown batter, the carts were stuffed with amplifiers, guitars and damned drum doo hickeys. I was in the Lonesome Dove tent, watching a screening of Walk the Line and getting ready to see the lovely Shania Twain, when these hot shots started playing some loud rockabilly song about a made up vegetable. Luckily someone pulled the plug after their first song, but they still interrupted two minutes of a great movie. That’s twice in a row, Dunebilly. Won’t get fooled again! Take Curley Wilcox’s advice, you’re better off selling corn dogs.
