In this message, we look at the biblical foundation of marriage and the key truths God established from the very beginning. 🔑 Key Points from the Sermon: 1️⃣ Marriage is a Covenant Relationship Marriage is not merely a contract — it is a sacred covenant before God. Scripture portrays God’s relationship with His people as a marriage, showing its deep spiritual significance (Isaiah 62:5; Hosea 2:19–20; Revelation 19:6–9). 2️⃣ Marriage Is Between a Man and a Woman God created woman as a suitable companion for man, equal in value and dignity yet uniquely designed for partnership (Genesis 2:18–24; Mark 10:6–8). Scripture clearly upholds heterosexual marriage as God’s design and condemns sexual immorality and same-sex relationships (Leviticus 18:22; Romans 1:24–27; 1 Corinthians 6:9–10). 3️⃣ Marriage Is a Public Vow of Lifetime Faithfulness God intends marriage to be a lifelong union — “one flesh” and not to be separated (Mark 10:6–9).
