🔊🎶🗣️ It would be remiss to be in #Bodrum and not see its iconic castle, built during the late Crusades in the early 15th century as the Castle of St. Peter by the Knights of St. John. Much of #BodrumCastle is preserved, as it now houses a few meandering peacocks and a turtle, plus, most significantly, the Bodrum Underwater Archaeology Museum. Not actually underwater nor a museum for scuba divers as I originally thought, it’s a comprehensive museum about ancient sunken ships in the area, and their recovered cargo.
