I haven't seen many other versions of this song being posted on player pianos so I am unsure of the popularity it had when the song was introduced in the 1920s. Usually, the most popular tunes were picked up by all the major roll companies. I don't know much about this song. I've had the roll for quite some time though. Jewel rolls were owned by parent company, Rose Valley Co. Of Philadelphia, PA. They also produced other roll labels such as Ideal and Mono Roll. "L. Bradley" was a pseudonym for Ed Sheppard. The name was derived from his wife's maiden name. If you like his style, as I do, I invite you to look at my "IDEAL Player Piano" playlist where you can find a big assortment of Ed Sheppard arrangements. Although I'm not 100% sure of this, Ed Sheppard may have also used the pseudonym Earl Knight as well. That Earl Knight should not be confused with the popular jazz musician with the same name who lived from 1920 - 2008.
