My friend Filip lent me his analog camera Yashica FX-2. The camera reminds me of the Pentax K-1000, with which I made a lot of movies. I took the Yashica FX-2 with me when my kids and I went on a trip and we got to the animal shelter. I also took it with me when I went to photograph a top Slovenian swimmer for an article on the SiOL.net portal. https://siol.net/sportal/drugi-sporti... I filled the rest of the film with a walk around our home. In the meantime, I helped myself to the Lighmeter Free app because I was confused as the light meter in the camera showed me strange values. Just at the last shot, I found that the light meter has an on and off button. If I draw the line ... The Yashica FX-2 works like clockwork. Now I have photographed some movies on some Russian analog cameras and there is a kr difference when I switched to Japanese. Code to sit down from Lada to Toyota. It can be seen nicely (bright and sharp) through the eyepiece. All mechanics work like clockwork. The photos came out flawless. Wonderful. It is true that Russian analog devices (which I had in use) also have a charm with their defects. It’s more of a lottery of what’s going to come out. If anyone asked me which camera I recommend to start with, it would probably be a Yashica. Below the video I put a very nice song from a gipsy swing quintet from a friend of Tea Collori (thanks Teo for a beautiful song).
