Top off your summer with an ice cream in Watertown’s downtown, a paddle along the river or a live concert at the Bentzin Family Town Square! Today on Discover Wisconsin we enjoy scenes along the Rock River, the centerpoint of Watertown’s downtown development project. In conjunction with the Redevelopment Authority, Watertown has invested over $13 million in the downtown block alone. The Bentzin Family Town Square is one such product of this economic initiative. The square’s incredible river views are only the beginning of what this area will offer the community. In addition to its scenic location adjacent to the town’s historic Carnegie Library and various downtown businesses, The Bentzin Family Town Square also features a venue for hosting live music; an ADA accessible water sports recreation dock for launching paddle boards, kayaks and canoes; a walking path along the river; and a platform for hosting community events.
