We're proud to be working in collaboration with OB1, supporting the youth of today: https://www.ob1original.com In this episode, @Mahoneybrickworks talks us through Dealing With Tragedy On Site in his backstory and how life can change in an instant and that you should never take anything or anyone for granted. Ash has always had bricklaying in his blood, and knew from the very beginning he was destined to lay bricks. At a young age Ash could be found with his dad on site getting hands on experience of all kinds. He then talks about his toughest project which took a toll on him not only physically but mentally and emotionally as well. Thankfully with the help of Rob from MYHP he was able to persevere and keep moving forward. Ash wants the persona of the construction industry to improve, “it's a high end profession and because not everyone can do what we do” and we should all treat it as such He tells us how he started his own company in 2011 and how the 2008 recession put a pause on things He talks about what role social media plays in the construction industry, why some construction videos go viral, and how it allows you to show your talents to possible customers And he tells us a bit about his love of boxing when he isn’t bricklaying _________________________________ No Construction worker or their family should be alone in a crisis For more information please visit: https://www.lighthouseclub.org/mental...
