Excessive vaginal relaxation or loose vagina are referring to the condition where the vaginal wall tissue, supporting ligaments and gaps in the pelvic cavity that are failing to support and maintain its structure, leading to a form prolapse. This loss of structural and tissue integrity causes the feeling of tightness in the vagina to cease, very much like how we observe older people having droopy eyebags under their eyes. Cause The origins of the “loose vagina” can be credited either congenital structural relaxation, having gone through labor and abortion procedures. These 3 can cause the vagina to expand excessively and weaken muscular elasticity. In addition to long-term lifting of heavy objects or chronic coughing, it can lead to chronic abdominal pressure leading to prolapse. Symptoms For those who have a mild condition, they experience little to no symptoms. For rather severe ones, the vagina may experience full prolapse, with symptoms including lower-back pain and constipation. The constipation develops so severely that patients may need to manually reinsert the prolapsed vagina back to its original position to force the feaces to exit. Furthermore, this will also affect sexual intercourse, when penetration no longer has the original experience with the loss of elasticity, some may even have trouble or pain. Furthermore, this can increase chances of vaginal infections. Diagnosis Usually, patients who develop this condition only realize it when they experience this later in life or have experienced certain vaginal trauma. We will also assess in addition to your full medical history. Diagnosis for a vaginal septum requires: Colposcopy Full gynecological examination 4D Color Doppler Ultrasound Treatment Treatment for excessive vaginal relaxation or “loose vagina” can only be treated surgically. Conventional treatment such as medication are ineffective and non-long lasting. Some doctors offer surgeries that remove a portion of the weakened vaginal mucosal tissue, and then proceed to suture the surgical site, but this has been proven to be ineffective and can potentially worsen the condition over time. Antai Hospital invented and provides a specialized surgery known as the “Bridging & Constriction of the Vagina”, which does not remove any tissues and sutures the excess mucosal lining in the rectovaginal space to thicken the rectovaginal space. Next, longitudinal sutures are done following the vaginal circular muscles, and then bridging the two in a tie, so that the vaginal circular muscles are shortened a little; Finally, is the bridging on both sides of the outer edge of the mucosa, the mucosa experiences much more contraction. It shortens the vaginal circulator muscles and thickens the tissue around the vagina. This is vaginal constriction surgery without recurrence – Antai Hospital’s guarantee. This surgery can restore elasticity state of the vagina very similar to that of pre-pregnancy. About Antai Hospital: Unexplained miscarriages are but unidentified causes of miscarriage.
