We took our new INTEX Seahawk 4 with trolling motor (Newport Vessels NV-Series 36 lb. Thrust Saltwater Transom Mounted Electric Trolling Motor with 30" Shaft) http://amzn.to/2rBjukU for a test run on the river during last weekend's camping trip at Bethpage RV Resort. We look forward to many more boat trips in the future. It did not move very fast but it was definitely easier than trying to navigate around the river with only the paddles. We have taken the boat on numerous outings including a moving river stream. We were able to ride the boat back upstream against the current. I may add some modifications like bench seat and stadium seats for comfort. After this video, in order to take the boat out on lakes in VA, we registered the boat to make it official. However, not once were we ever asked for the registration.
