If this were Pokemon Yellow, an Electric-type like Electabuzz would be utterly impossible on Minimum Battles, much less Ultra Minimum Battles. But with good TM coverage from Psychic and Submission, and weaker AI movesets in Pokemon Red/Blue, could a mid-tier Pokemon without any good status manage to complete this challenge? Link to the Johnstone Video that inspired this:    • HOW EASILY CAN YOU BEAT POKEMON RED/BLUE I...   ~~Rules~~ -I start with a single Max DVs/Max IVs Level 5 Electabuzz. -I must lose to Rival 1 in Oak's Lab. -I can only fight the Gym Leaders, the League, and the Champion. -I can fight Gym Leaders in any order, but must beat all 8 gyms before the League. -I can walk through walls to travel the overworld, collect items, etc.. -I can get vitamins that are available to transfer to Gen 1 via the Color Case in Pokemon Stadium 2. -Solo Challenge: No other Pokemon in battle, no items in battle -Rare Candies and Stat-Boosting Vitamins ARE Allowed -Max DVs/Max IVs -Double Team is banned. -The following TMs are only allowed after exhausting ALL other options: Rest, Toxic, Mimic, Substitute, Bide ~~RBY Pokemon Challenges Community~~ Support my goal to become a full-time creator (someday!)
