In the rolling hills near Fish Creek, Horizon House by Neil Architecture was designed to withstand the elements while embracing the vast outlook toward Corner Inlet and Wilsons Promontory. The home takes the form of a simple, elongated structure that sits low on the hill, allowing the surrounding landscape to remain the dominant presence. Verandahs wrap the main living spaces, offering protection from wind and weather while maintaining a strong connection to the surrounding landscape through deep reveals. Externally, UniCote LUX Corten Red cladding provides a robust outer skin that responds to the harsh conditions of the site.
