Hear me out. What if, you play all of the playable Gearhulks in one deck, for a ridiculous top end of endless value and big, sometimes uncounterable bodies? Utilizing cheap removal and board wipes, this deck should be pretty effective into the Badgermole Cub meta. OVERALL RECORD SPOILERS AHEAD Unfortunately, I think we had a tough run with our matchups. Over 7 matches we went 3-4, getting comically whooped on by mono red burn and Izzet variants. Only matched against a Badgermole Cub deck once, which we maybe overprepared for. I think some of the potential power of the deck was shown, as well as some real problems. First off, the mana base is decent but not great, leading to some awkward openers. Riptide Gearhulk performed pretty poorly at 5 mana, often got stuck in our hand and sometimes didn't have anything to target. On the other hand, the endless stream of value and flexibility looked actually pretty good in some games? I might continue to work on this one if there's interest. Anyway, thanks for watching!
