Richard Diamond, Private Detective-"The Louis Spence Case" from Classic Mystery Radio. Diamond investigates a madman with a bomb and a strange request for the mayor. Original air date: 3-5-50 Starring: Dick Powell Virginia Gregg Stan Waxman Frances Robinson Cynthia Corley LIST OF ALL RICHARD DIAMOND EPISODES: • Richard Diamond, Private Detective-Classic... ************* Richard Diamond, Private Detective starred popular big-screen actor Dick Powell as the sophisticated and sharp-tongued gumshoe. No doubt Powell's powerful portrayal of Philip Marlowe in the now-classic Murder, My Sweet just a few years previous influenced the decision to have him in the lead. Joining Diamond was girlfriend Helen Asher, played by Virginia Gregg, who also voiced Betty Lewis on Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar. The series started in 1949 on NBC but eventually moved to ABC in 1951 and on to CBS in 1953, enjoying a well-received run. Powell, a multi-talented Hollywood song-and-dance man, put his unique stamp on the end of each episode by crooning a tune to his Park Avenue gal. ************** Please LIKE and/or SUBSCRIBE if you appreciate this video---it really helps my channel! Please know, to begin with, that I pay a monthly subscription fee to use the AI software, which means a considerable financial investment. I've also invested hundreds of hours learning about AI as well as figuring out how to tweak/focus/hone my (lengthy) prompts in order to get the very specific results desired for these videos. Even at that, I probably reject 10 images for every one I use. Additionally, almost every image is further altered (Photoshopped) to remove undesirable features, fix oddities and to add my direct creative touches. All of my images have indeed received considerable human input and thereby meet the lawful requirements for claiming their copyrights. I hereby do so.
