The 2025 Wigmore Hall International String Quartet Competition is the 16th edition of this prestigious Competition, and a celebration of the art of the string quartet, which attracts leading ensembles from around the world. At least six quartets selected by the Competition Jury will perform one of their two choices of 19th century repertoire. At the end of the evening, the Jury will select at least three quartets to proceed to the Final.
