Today I’m resetting and upgrading Mocha’s sulcata tortoise enclosure. I replaced the old substrate with fresh topsoil, added mulch, hiding spots, plants, and a feeding area to keep Mocha’s food cleaner. I also set up proper UVB lighting, basking light, heat bulb, and a humidifier to maintain the right temperature and humidity for healthy growth. Mocha then explores the enclosure, enjoys her greens (with some hidden hay powder), and finally goes to her hide for a well-deserved nap. 🐢 Sulcata tortoises love natural environments, so the goal of this setup is to make Mocha’s enclosure cleaner, safer, and more natural.
