John Rabe: Savior of Nanjing Massacre | Full Documentary

John Rabe was a German Nazi who protected hundreds of thousands of Chinese from Japanese soldiers at the Nanjing Massacre. John Rabe traveled to China in 1908, working in Nanjing, the former capital of China. Rabe was a member of the Nazi Party. Despite his appreciation for Hitler's government, John Rabe saved more than 200 thousand Chinese lives during the Japan-China War. During the Nanjing massacre, John Rabe established a protection zone for Chinese. He protected them by using a large Nazi flag that was placed next to the protection zone so the Japanese could not bomb his property because of the Japanese-German alliance.
