Creating a Creativity Advent for CPTSD Survivors || 🔦Week 1: What is a Creativity Advent?

The month of December is challenging for many CPTSD (Complex PTSD) survivors. Having a CPTSD diagnosis myself and knowing not everyone celebrates Christmas or have others to be with, I created a Creativity Advent in Dec 2024. Members felt seen, included, welcomed, and a part of a community. This will be my 2025 Creativity Advent (2nd edition) and I would love to have each of you (my community friends) to be involved. For the next three Wednesdays (Oct 15, 22, 29) please join me as we look at creating a Creativity Advent for trauma survivors, including those who find December challenging. Please join me for the following 🔦WEEK 1: INTENT || What is a Creativity Advent? How many days does it run for? Who is it for? Why is it needed? Where will it be housed? What's included? How will it work? Will the receiver need anything in addition? Additional questions identified and addressed. 💡WEEK 2: BRAINSTORMING || Medium platform features and limitation. Designing Creativity Advent template style, identifying and selecting 40 creativity elements to choose from. Where to find creative elements? Royalty Free? Design? Create verbiage to include with each Advent Day's creative element. 🏗️WEEK 3: CONSTRUCTING || Selecting creative elements that will work within the chosen platform requirements. Choosing creative elements for specific days; taking into consideration specific days that may be more challenging than others. Putting creative elements in the template and run through.
