Après avoir descendu la vallée de la Vaïre dans les Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, les autorails des Chemins de Fer de Provence rejoignent celle du Var à hauteur de Pont-de-Gueydan. Quelques kilomètres plus loin, ils atteignent la gare d'Entrevaux (04), située au pied d'une magnifique ville médiévale et d'une citadelle construite d'après les projets de Vauban, à la fin du XVIIe siècle et au début du XVIIIe siècle.
