Ballaké Sissoko and Baba Sissoko are not only among the most acclaimed and productive musicians in Mali, but they are also linked by a direct relationship that sees them grow together first, and then individually launched into the Olympus of Music World. This concert tells the meeting of two blood cousins after decades spent on the most ambitious stages of the World. Ballaké Sissoko is one of the most recorded and acclaimed Kora players, his records are a real heritage for the music of Mali. He began his record production in 1998 and now he counts 11 releases. Baba Sissoko is a versatile multi-instrumentalist with a deep voice, messenger of Peace and bearer of the live torch of the "Griot" tradition. He is undoubtedly one of the leading exponents of ethno-world music, for years engaged in the dissemination of the musical tradition of Mali in the international arena.
