In this video, Jared continues our basic artificial intelligence introduction project by adding in some random patrolling to our project and covering several important aspects of the project. For this AI we use a Finite State Machine in order to get our AI character to transition between varying states and to perform various actions. We make use of our nav mesh and nav mesh agent in this video to help our AI with navigation, and we use several waypoints to make it easier for our artificial intelligence character to move around in our scene. This video largely focuses on changing the methodology that is used by our artificial intelligence character's in order to patrol through our scene easily.
