Today we have a situation here and I am not even joking. After looking at Nicoles latest kit info and the new Sandrone info I can already see exactly what Hoyoverse is doing. So hello it is me your Arlecchino and today we are talking about Nicoles latest kit details and Sandrones newest info. Grab your snacks because yeah this one is going to hurt. Starting with Nicole. From the latest info she is shaping up to be a very interesting but controlled support. At C zero she is a shielder with around eighty percent attack scaling which already shows she is mixing offense and utility. She provides additional damage that falls into the same category as Xianyun style additive damage. This extra damage has a hit limit and trigger interval so it is structured not infinite scaling. It triggers in intervals and scales using the on field characters crit stats which means your DPS directly affects her output. It is being compared to Xingqiu or Yelan style coordinated attacks but without elemental application so she is just adding extra hits on top of your main DPS. Her skill triggers attack buffs and her burst triggers the additional damage so her kit splits between buffing and coordinated damage. Constellations get spicy here. C one increases her extra damage portion significantly. C two gives around twenty percent resistance shred plus other effects. C six gives around twenty percent defense shred and unlocks her full potential. C two and C six are her major power spikes. She also provides damage percent buffs making her a layered buffer not just attack. But here is the catch. Her extra damage does not benefit from amplifying reactions and there is no current info on crit rate or crit damage buffs in her constellations. So she is strong but not completely broken. She needs at least two Hexerei characters in the team plus another condition that is not very impactful so compared to other Hexerei units she is one of the least restrictive. She is confirmed for version six point six alongside Lohen who is expected to be a standard character coming from reliable sources like Full Stop Chan. Overall Nicole is looking like a structured support. Not a Bennett replacement. Not a broken universal unit. But a very solid controlled buffer with coordinated damage mechanics. Current info points to Sandrone releasing in version six point seven as the main new character so she is literally right after Nicole and already you can see the trap. You pull Nicole and then Sandrone shows up. Her element is still debated. Earlier info pointed to Geo and Lunar Crystallize but more recent info is leaning toward Electro with a focus on Superconduct and if that is true this is actually huge because Superconduct has been one of the most ignored reactions in the game. So if you are a long term player if you care about future teams if you want value saving for Sandrone is probably the smarter choice. But again it depends on your account. If you need a strong support right now Nicole is not a bad pull especially if you are building Hexerei teams. But if you can wait six point seven is looking way more impactful. For me I am confused. I am not even going to lie. My wallet is already cooked and now I have to choose between Nicole and Sandrone. And knowing Hoyoverse they will make both tempting.
