Steak & Slot Success! Day 4 ~ Las Vegas Vlog | Back at The Cosmo for STK, Slots & VP and Cocktails!

Thank you for watching, liking and hyping, and subscribing! On our fourth day in Las Vegas we said goodbye to Resorts World after a very nice stay at Conrad. We drove down The Strip to our next home away from home for four nights, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. We also had a concurrent two-night comped stay booked at Park MGM, primarily so we could take advantage of the $200 resort credit and $85 in slot play that was being offered. While driving we noticed that things were starting to pick up--we saw lots of people walking around and there were more cars on Las Vegas Boulevard, and we figured that people were starting to make their way to Vegas for New Year celebrations. We weren't able to check into the Cosmo quite yet so we had the bellman store our bags while we dove right in to playing slots. We had immediate success in that we scored a number of quick bonuses on several slots and had lots of fun, but we didn't end up winning too much. That drove us to the Chandelier Bar, where we both enjoyed cocktails and bartop slots and video poker. I did pretty well on VP during this session and got to play for quite awhile, as even when I was getting to the end of my TITO I would get a big win that got me back in business again. We got a message that our room was ready, so we headed to the Chelsea Tower so we could get ready for our Christmas dinner at STK. We've been to this restaurant a few times and had probably our best experience of all this evening. Our reservation was early, 5:00 or 5:30 p.m., but when we arrived the restaurant was already packed and full of festive diners. Our table was available right away and our server was fantastic--friendly but efficient, and she expertly answered all of our questions and recommended a fantastic wine and cocktail. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered and highly recommend visiting STK. Then it was over to Park MGM so that we could check into our room there. We were double-booked as Mr. and Ms. E keep our player's club accounts separate, which makes it easier to extend our Vegas stays and get the most possible comps! We had a very standard room but it was clean and perfectly adequate. The steak and booze had kicked in by this time so we took a little power nap and then it was back to playing slots at Park MGM. Our best slot win ever was at Park MGM (check our our video: we won a $24,000 + Grand jackpot on a Dancing Drums Explosion game that's no longer there, go figure!), so we always try our luck there. This time we didn't have any big wins but we did have a ton of fun playing the King Kong game and got a nice bonus. We headed over to Aria next, where Mr. E had some very good luck on slots. Unfortunately not too much made it to the vlog because he hardly ever films his slot play when he's off on his own, alas! He did win a $1,300+ handpay this evening on a cartoony-looking Frankenstein and other monsters slot, although he can't remember if it was at Aria or at Cosmo. At least he did take a photo and that appears at the end of this video! The old Lobby Bar at Aria has been recently renovated and it looks great! I didn't catch the name of the bar (maybe it's still Lobby Bar?), but the new seating is excellent and there are even bartop games there now (not sure that they had them before?). We enjoyed a couple of nice cocktails and I had some good wins on video poker. We then played some slots together at Aria and enjoyed a stroll though the lobby that had been decorated for the winter holidays. Finally we headed back to the Cosmo and enjoyed a visit to the 2nd level of the Chandelier Bar for even more cocktails, which were both very good. We played a few more slots with decent success before we dragged ourselves back up to the room at about 2 a.m. to wrap up the day.
