If you're try to fix your dog's reactivity or (even better) want to avoid the mistakes that cause it in the first place, this free tutorial is a must watch. Owners often put their dogs in situations that perpetuate reactive aggression like barking, lunging and screaming. Situations that seem benign and harmless to us can do lifelong damage in dogs prone to reactivity. Puppies are especially vulnerable to every day situations but there are ways to avoid the damage and raise a confident, neutral dog that looks to you for direction. If you'd like more help with this issue, consider joining our "Repairing Reactivity" online dog training course, both for professionals and dog owners. A massive guide to changing emotion rather than just addressing the symptoms, this life time access course also comes with access to our private FB coaching group. One on one online lessons are also available for those who need extra help. Sarah Prelle is a highly successful pet dog trainer of over 20 years, creator of OC Dog Ranch in Orange County, CA, entrepreneur, and international level IGP competitor. Her first dog she competed with was a reactive 7 year old boxer named Budee that belonged to a client. Together they achieved their AKC Companion Dog title and Rally Excellent. The next dog she competed with was a Belgian Malinois named Giacomo who became the first perfect score in US French Ring at the level 1. His other two scores for the title were 198 and 199, under three different judges. Together they also achieved his UDX and qualified for the AKC Obedience Invitational in Orlando, Florida. The third dog she competed with was a rescue Siberian Husky that belonged to a client. Together they achieved a CDX, with scores in the mid 190's. Despite training him through the Utility routine, she then took a break from competing to focus on OC Dog Ranch, a 5 acres board and train operation set up to be dog heaven. With a custom in ground pool, huge grass yard and no more than 6 dogs per employee, it quickly rose to being the most in demand training facility in the area, booked out months in advance. She then returned to competing with Inyo, another Belgian Malinois. Together they achieved his IGP 3 title, winning the Canadian Working Dog Foundation's National Championship. Her next competition dog was Ricky, another Malinois. After achieving their IGP 3, they later became AWMA Vice National Champion and placed 4th twice more at National Championships, making a total of three world teams. Most recently, at the 2023 FCI World Championships, she placed 8th overall, and with the highest protection score in the trial, was awarded the best protection. She is currently training an American Hairless Terrier who may compete in the future. www.pupseesworld.com
