5.4 Door macro - Milling the V joins door with bSolid

This is the forth in a series of five short videos (5.1 to 5.5) explaining the creation of a macro to machine a "V" joint door. This forth video shows how to use a 90 degree V cutter to rout out the V join grooves and a 10 mm compression cutter to trim the edges of the panel. No lead-ins or lead-outs are used with the V grooves as the cutter shape provides a drilling action and also to prevent cutting into the stile/rails of the panel. The trim cut uses a compression cutter and a .2 through machining depth. The lead-in and lead-out used is a ramp at approx 25 degrees to give good finish on both sides of the board. The final video shows how to save your program as a macro and apply the macro to any panel size. (Coming Soon - November/December 2020)
