One challenging aspect of being a Project Manager is developing a strong Project Team. In this video, I will outline the Tuckman Model, which focuses on team development. Bruce Tuckman developed this five-stage model: Forming, Storming, Norming, Performing and Adjourning. Project Teams often cycle through these phases and the goal is to get them to the performing stage as quickly as possible and keep them there! As a Project Manager or Team Lead, it is important that you build a culture within your team that allows them to thrive and succeed, which ultimately supports the success of the project. The goal of this video is to outline the aspect of each stage of the Tuckman Model and provide tips on how to manage them.
