In this video we will walk you through the steps you need to take if you are wanting to transfer BRC20 tokens cross-chain. We have used an example from our project Bitcoin Dogs, moving $0DOG token on Bitcoin Ordinals over to Ethereum chain and then farming it. Watch as we use our Unisat wallet to inscribe the ordinals on MultiBit, withdraw them and then move them over to ERC20. You will also find in this video a step-by-step guide on how to add liquidity to our $0DOG LP pool in order to farm $0DOG and earn over 400% APY. We hope you find this useful. Navigate to the BRC-20 asset you want to send, and select it. Choose Send from the asset details page. Select the Inscribe button and the Amount. Select Pay & inscribe. Select the BRC-20 tokens you can to send. You can select multiple. Select Continue, enter the recipient address, then select Continue again. Review the details, then select Confirm. Transferring tokens from the BRC-20 (Bitcoin) chain to the Ethereum chain using a UniSat wallet and MultiBit involves bridging assets across two different blockchain ecosystems. The UniSat wallet helps manage BRC-20 tokens on the Bitcoin blockchain, while MultiBit serves as a multi-chain bridge tool that enables cross-chain token transfers. The process usually involves swapping or wrapping tokens and interacting with smart contracts to ensure the tokens are correctly represented on the Ethereum network. Here’s a step-by-step guide for transferring tokens from BRC-20 to the Ethereum chain: Steps to Transfer Tokens from BRC-20 to Ethereum Chain using UniSat Wallet and MultiBit: Install and Set Up UniSat Wallet: Install the UniSat Wallet extension or app from its official site. Set up your wallet, ensuring it’s connected to the Bitcoin blockchain. Import your private keys or seed phrase if you’re migrating from another wallet. Check Your BRC-20 Token Balance: In your UniSat wallet, ensure you have the BRC-20 tokens you want to transfer. Confirm your wallet has sufficient Bitcoin (BTC) for transaction fees. Connect to MultiBit: Go to the MultiBit platform or another bridging tool that supports cross-chain token transfers. Connect your UniSat wallet to MultiBit by selecting the "Bitcoin" option from MultiBit’s wallet connection menu. Select the Transfer Option: In MultiBit, choose the “Cross-Chain Transfer” option. Select “BRC-20 to Ethereum” as the transfer direction. Choose the BRC-20 Token to Transfer: Pick the specific BRC-20 token (e.g., BARK) that you want to transfer. Enter the amount you wish to bridge to Ethereum. Prepare for Wrapping: MultiBit will generate a wrapped version of your BRC-20 token (often called a wBRC20 token) for Ethereum. Review the details, including the token conversion ratio and any associated fees. Initiate the Transfer on the Bitcoin Chain: Approve the transfer of the BRC-20 token within your UniSat wallet. This triggers a transaction on the Bitcoin blockchain to initiate the wrapping process. Switch to Ethereum Chain: Once the Bitcoin transaction is confirmed, MultiBit will provide you with the wrapped token on Ethereum. Switch to the Ethereum network in your MultiBit interface. Connect Ethereum Wallet: Connect an Ethereum-compatible wallet (like MetaMask) to receive your wrapped tokens. Ensure your wallet is connected to the Ethereum chain. Compatibility: Make sure your UniSat wallet and MultiBit bridge support the specific BRC-20 tokens you're transferring. MultiBit Process: MultiBit or a similar bridging tool handles the cross-chain mechanics, wrapping tokens from BRC-20 to wBRC20. Ethereum Wallet: After the bridge, your tokens will appear as wrapped assets on Ethereum, so your MetaMask (or compatible wallet) should be ready to receive.
