In addition to being a hub for college students and bookworms, providing educational textbooks as well as fiction and non-fiction reads, it is a real hub of activity, which is why we’re taking you along on our trip as we explore the best things to do on College Street in Kolkata. Having checked out the seemingly endless rows of bookstores and getting our hands on some titles that had been on our to-read list for ages, we headed to the legendary Indian Coffee House for a well-deserved snack and a cup of coffee. Our next stop was the equally well-known Paramount, which serves delicious cold drinks and syrups. To sneak a moment of peace and tranquility in the midst of the hustle and bustle, we made sure to visit the Maha Bodhi Society to pay our respects before heading back out for some more food. We had to sample some Kolkata street food, so we stopped at Kalika to enjoy a fish chop and an egg devil before ending our day on a sweet note with authentic Bengali mishti at Putiram.
