A week or so ago, after developing a new DK64 viewing tool ( https://theballaam96.github.io/donk_v... ), I came across a weird path in Crystal Caves which was clearly not in the final game ( https://bsky.app/profile/ballaam.dk64... ). After some further digging, it turns out this path is tied to a GB in the Kiosk Demo and is a race against Squawks. Unfortunately, this race is heavily bugged and crashes upon completion. However, with a decent amount of memory edits, it is possible to revive this race to a playable state. ADDR - New Value 8065843e - 0064 80658538 - 0000 0000 8065856c - 0000 0000 80658588 - 0818 E117 8065858C - 0000 0000 806584EC - 0300 2025 80658554 - 0000 0000 80658400 - 0000 0000 Even with these, this won't summon the GB as modifyObjectState seems to be bugged for this GB. As such, you have to make the memory edit directly to get the GB to do the final rise/cutscene: 80369006 - 0A 80369010 - 01 This video shows both the unmodified race (and resulting crash), and the modified race with those edits and some minor video editing tricks to mask some mid-race writes to get that GB rise working
