Once I received the recommendation, I started hearing it over and over on Spotify, and I knew I just had to cover it. Down For Life is super catchy and as thrashy as you can get, and most of you know I love my thrash metal, especially the work of Lombardo. I truly appreciate what Dave can do with his fast thrash grooves, a truly amazing drummer he is. With that being said, I explored the entire album over the course of a week. The riffs are catchy as hell, and when needed, as aggressive and infuriated as you can get. I had a lot of fun with the ending tom pattern of this track, and added my own little take, including an effects trash stack I've grown to love that cuts through a mix like a monster. I seriously cannot thank you all enough for your support with this channel.
