The game has gameplay similar to Rock Band, Guitar Hero, Dance Dance Revolution, StepMania, and PaRappa the Rapper, and an aesthetic similar to Flash games popular in the early and mid-2000s. Friday Night Funkin' is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel originally created for Ludum Dare 47.
