Is NYC's Best Pizza in CHINATOWN? Is Scarr's Pizza Worth The Hype?

Out of all the best pizzas in New York City, Scarr's Pizza is not only one that I get recommended the most frequently, it is also the most interesting pizza joint to me. Scarr's Pizza in Chinatown is located in a neighborhood that you wouldn't think to be a hub for pizza. Indeed it is not, as the vast majority of foods in that neighborhood are Asian foods and not a pizza joint. So it's really saying a lot if a pizza shop in Chinatown is regarded as one of the best pizzas in NYC. Scarr's PIzza was closed for a bit due to a fire but has since reopened. It has gotten some mixed reviews since reopening, with some people saying it's one of the best slices in NYC still, or at least one of the best pizzas in Manhattan, while others say it has fallen off. We will find out together! Scarr's Pizza may no longer be a hidden gem like it once was, as now there is often a line out the door, but it is still one of the less well-known pizza shops in NYC.
