The grandfather of the dungeon crawler genre, Dungeon Master by FTL Games, released originally for the Atari ST in 1986 and then later on the Amiga, PC and other systems (including the Super Nintendo). This is the original PC version played through Dosbox. This video covers the start of choosing your heroes, and the first proper level of the dungeon (which is level 2, as the first level covers practically only the character selection and a few items). The playthrough videos have been edited to omit saves, loads, long resting times and game overs for a more concise experience. I have never played Dungeon Master beyond the first few levels before.
