Brewing a Blueberry Wheat Ale | Grain to Glass

In this video, I show you how to brew a fruity wheat beer, specifically a blueberry wheat. This video covers the recipe, the brew, the fermentation and the final tasting. This recipe was extremely simple but still very interesting. I opted to use all natural ingredients this time over extracts, hence blueberry puree. This results in a slightly tart beer as the yeast will ferment through the simple sugars in the fruit completely. The wheat beer base made for a sort of pie-crusty backdrop to the tart blueberry flavors, leading to a very balanced result. I wouldn't change much from this brew, maybe just adding a little food coloring for fun.
